However, that doesn’t mean there aren’t still some great Christmas flight deals in the US. Today, we’ll take a look at some of the cheapest holiday season flights from December 23rd to January 2nd.
This is typically the most expensive time to fly all year, so these flight prices, which are all $29, are astounding. You won’t have to think twice about visiting family or taking a holiday trip with these deals.
These 15 Christmas flight deals, which are all on Frontier, are valid as of the time of writing and could be gone as quickly as they appear, so jump on them!
Here they are:
1. Las Vegas (LAS) to New York (JFK) – $29
Take the Red Eye into New York from Las Vegas on Christmas morning for just $29. New York is a special place to be during the holiday season, but December certainly isn’t the best month to visit from a price and weather perspective.
Still, this is a great flight for those living in the Vegas area to go back and visit family for the holidays on the cheap.
2. Atlanta (ATL) to New York (JFK) – $29
There are three $29 options to go from Atlanta to New York this holiday season. Fly in on December 24 just in time for Christmas or take a 10:35pm flight on the 31st and spend the first moments of the New Year flying.
Also, you can fly in on New Year’s Day for $29.
3. Los Angeles (LAX) to/from Phoenix (PHX) – $29
Los Angeles to and from Phoenix is a quick flight and there are a few $29 options from each city.
Fly into Phoenix from LAX on December 23rd, 25th, or Dec 31st. Unlike the Atlanta to NYC flight, these on New Year’s Eve will give you plenty of time to celebrate the night with friends and family.
The options to go from Phoenix to LA are on December 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, and 31st.
4. Las Vegas (LAS) to/from San Diego (SAN) – $29
Some of the best Christmas flight deals are on the Las Vegas to/from San Diego flight route. With just under an hour of flight time, it makes sense why these flights are so cheap.
To San Diego, your options are flying in on December 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st
You could even do a round trip for under $60 as the $29 San Diego to Las Vegas flights depart on December 24th, 25th, 29th, 31st, and January 1st.
5. Phoenix (PHX) to/from San Antonio (SAT) – $29
Phoenix to/from San Antonio starts at just $29 on Christmas Day. There’s also a $29 flight from San Antonio to Phoenix on New Year’s Day.
6. Los Angeles (LAX) to/from San Francisco (SFO) – $29
Fly between these iconic California cities for $29 this holiday season. The sole $29 flight this holiday season from LA to San Francisco is on December 24th.
Meanwhile, you can return to Los Angeles for $29 on December 31st or January 1st.
7. Salt Lake City (SLC) to/from Denver (DEN) – $29
Christmas flight deals are also available from Salt Lake to Denver and vice versa. Head to Denver for just $29 on December 24th, 30th, or 31st
The cheap DEN to SLC dates are December 23rd, 24th, 30th, and 31st.
8. Atlanta (ATL) to/from Fort Lauderdale (FLL) – $29
Hit the beach from Atlanta this Christmas with multiple options to Fort Lauderdale on Frontier. You can go from ATL to FLL for $29 on December 23rd, 24th, 29th, 30th, and 31st, as well as on January 1st.
You can also fly from Fort Lauderdale to Atlanta for a cheap price on December 23rd, 24th, 25th, 30th, 31st, and January 1st.
9. El Paso (ELP) to/from Denver (DEN) – $29
Take a ski trip from El Paso to the Denver area during Christmastime. Snag $29 flights on Frontier while supplies last on December 23rd, 24th, and 30th.
You can then head in the opposite direction for the same price on December 30th and 31st.
10. Denver (DEN) to Minneapolis (MSP) – $29
You’ll have a decent chance at a white Christmas in Minneapolis, and you can head to MSP from Denver on December 24th. While there are no $29 dates from MSP to DEN this holiday season, there are other cheap flights from Denver to Minneapolis on December 30th and 31st.
11. Las Vegas (LAS) to/from Seattle (SEA) – $29
You can also spend Christmas in the Pacific Northwest with these Las Vegas to Seattle flights. The best Christmas flight deals are on December 23rd, 24th, and 29th.
Return from Seattle to Las Vegas on January 2nd for $29 as well.
12. San Diego (SAN) to/from San Francisco (SFO) – $29
Here’s another deal between California cities. From San Diego to San Francisco, you have options on December 23rd, 24th, and 31st.
The only remaining $29 flight from SFO to SAN is on New Year’s Eve.
13. Denver (DEN) to/from San Diego (SAN) – $29
San Diego’s shown up a few times on this list, and if you want warm, sunny weather, it’s just about the best place you can be during the holiday season. From Denver, which will certainly not be warm, fly to San Diego on December 23rd, 24th, 25th, or 31st. There’s also a $29 flight on January 1st.
In the opposite direction, go from SAN to DEN on December 25th or 31st.
14. Las Vegas (LAS) to/from Salt Lake City (SLC) – $29
In both directions, you’ll be able to get a $29 flight on Christmas Eve. Hurry before this deal is completely gone.
15. Fort Lauderdale (FLL) to Chicago (ORD) – $29
Last but not least on our list of Christmas flight deals, fly from Fort Lauderdale to Chicago on Christmas Day. Chicago is an exceptionally festive place to spend Christmastime, and it also comes with the possibility of a white Christmas.
